Jim French, RN, BSN, MBA
1959-2003

Jim began his career as a Registered Nurse in 1980. He worked in Critical Care ICU at Menorah Hospital, the Renal Transplant Unit at St. Luke’s Hospital, and Home Health at the Visiting Nurse Association. Then he found his ‘niche’ in the relatively new field of Medical Case Management. He worked as a Case Manager from 1986 until the day he passed away suddenly from a heart attack. He worked in 4 companies over 10 years, besides owning his own firm for 7 years.

Jim had a great sense of humor, and was always teasing and joking! He worked hard, appreciated his job, and was a skilled Case Manager. We at Shorman Solutions, and our customers, miss him.

Besides being a great Case Manager and Nurse, Jim was a family man, loyal husband of Vicki’s, and Catholic man of faith. He was most proud of his 2 daughters, Laura and Sara, and we all heard about their accomplishments! We have also enjoyed working with his daughter, Laura, while she is getting her degree in pharmacology.

Jim was a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Missouri. His Nursing degrees were from St. Luke’s School of Nursing and Webster University. His MBA was accomplished in 1992 at Rockhurst College.
