She was an enjoyable sales woman and has many colleagues in the industry who miss her. She was active in organizations such as the Blue Goose and the Workers' Compensation Claim Association, and made innumerable presentations over the years.
In addition, Kathy was active politically in Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana. She testified about medical cost issues in Workers' Compensation, and worked on task forces to help make regulatory progress.

Kathy treasured doting on her 2 granddaughters, Kassidy and Kamryn, and was a loving mother of Eric, Karl, and her daughter-in-law, Kim. She was a member of Eagle Rock Community Church and woman of strong faith. Kathy loved to travel, go boating or snow skiing, and was an avid reader. She bravely battled ovarian cancer and wanted to educate other women to the warning signs for this disease.
