Sabra Kline, RN, BSN, MEd
1950-2006 |
Sabra combined her love of nursing with her joy in teaching to have an eclectic career! She achieved her BSN from Kansas University in 1972, and began teaching in the nursing program at Penn Valley Community College in 1974. While she was teaching, she also completed her M.Ed from University of Missouri.
Sabra was a Director of Nursing at Oakhaven Nursing Home and at Windsor Hospital, both in Missouri. Next she was the Director of Education for 5 years at the Visiting Nurse Association in Kansas City. Then she moved into the evolving Case Management field, where she worked in 4 companies over 20 years.
Sabra was an enthusiastic Case Manager and enjoyed dealing with all kinds of people. She combined her fun-loving personality with her clinical skills to be successful. |
Sabra was a proud mother of Philip and Stephen, and we enjoyed many stories about them over the 20 years we knew Sabra! She was a member of Asbury Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening and the arts. Sabra bravely fought a battle against breast cancer for over 5 years, while working and keeping her sense of humor.
