ILT Projects: ADDIE Project
IT 5110 Instructional Development & Production

The project was in partial requirements for IT5110: Instructional Development & Production. Through the study of instructional design models and the processes involved, the development of an individual model of instructional design, along with an appropriate rationale for its use was developed.

Throughout the development of the project, each individual process was studied in depth. This included the Analysis phase with a complete needs assessment for the learner goals that were determined, along with learner and content analysis.

The application of a chosen Instructional Design Model to the Blackboard Online Learning instructional modules development project was very educational. One of the primary reasons results from the process of thinking through each phase of the model and then thoroughly discussing the application of that particular phase to this project.

Materials
This project consists of a document containing an overview of the ADDIE model, with illustrations that reflect an initial understanding of the model with a revised representation. Further components include an application of this new model to an actual instructional design problem (Blackboard Online Learning modules) and the manual for users. Please use the link below to access these documents.
