ILT Project: Educating the Millennial Generation
IT 6740: Learning Processes Applied to Instructional Technology

The purpose of this project was to investigate a concept or topic of interest, complete a literature review on that concept and to reflect on the implications.

As I began reviewing the literature surrounding the Millennial generation, the questions I formulated were what, if anything, makes these 21st Century learners different? Can the differences be explained by the presence of technology? How are the learning processes impacted? Have recognized established learning processes been replaced by a whole new set of learning processes due to the presence of technology?

The process and completon of this project provided a reflective view of the challenges that educators face in teaching today along with learning about potential practices that may support the learning processes of todays generation of learners.
